As the Teacher gathered acorns in the garden he said to his students: “Our natural instincts are structured around a very thin layer of belief. This thin layer is the structure we inherited from our fathers. Perceptionism shatters this veil and gives rise to the pure individual. The minds of the world burst free of ingrained social restraints and become independent entities. However, we all suffer in this world gone on sabbatical. In these hardened times the ethos of our neighbor threatens our very reality. Would you fight for your right to say that the purple you see is green? Will your mind maintain its stability against the constant battering ram of foreign ideas? The masses, due to complacency and comfort in ignorance, only ever grasp a few levels of Perceptionism and, subsequently, are not so deeply affected by it. However, others, with more inquisitive minds, follow the logical chain of thought comprising Perceptionism to its inevitable end. If I perceive I do not exist does that void my existence?
As the Teacher tossed the acorn back onto the ground he chuckled and said: “The perception of an idea without merit or sense is foolhardy, but if you could wrap your mind around your own non-existence it might very well be so.”

The Teacher sat in the Hall of Lennef gazing upon the statue of Roskam and said: “In the old world the masters gave name and class to everything because they believed that the people wanted order. Little did they know that they were holding the world back. People, with few exceptions, prefer to create their own reality. Let distinctions go by the wayside and leave classifications to the dust. This is a world where every individual pushes their beliefs on the other. Reality is created on a day-to-day basis being ultimately sublime to the self.
Charles stood from the group of students seated in the Hall and said: “Without definition there is no consistency. The mind will eventually crumble under the pressure of indeterminacy.”
The Teacher turned and said: “You have grown much since we last spoke. Your insight is very close to the truth, but not entirely accurate. True Perceptionism is for the strong. There are leaders and there are followers. Leaders develop their own perceptions and followers listen and adopt these perceptions as their own. This is the way of world. The mind of the leader is strong and will not cower in the face of indeterminacy, but will thrive on the proliferation of their perceptions. The follower will feed off of the leader and survive through them. This is Perceptionism.”
